BRIEF INTRODUCTION

FASUYA MUSIC DANCE ENSEMBLE is an indigenous traditional Africa music and performing arts group based in Tamale in the Northern Region of the republic of Ghana.

The office of this group is located at kukuo a suburb of metropolitan Tamale with its groups in some of the communities and district in the northern region. The group selected some district in the region which have historical background and attractive in terms of cultural and tourism. 

 BACKGROUND OF FASUYA

The formation of FASUYA MUSIC DANCE  ENSEMBLE was necessitates by the ever growing desirous expression of interest by of local and International Student youth and Community for Inter-Cultural exchange development programmers and attention.  In the peaceful and successful achievement of this goal FASUYA MUSIC DANCE ERNSEMBLE  is effectively and sustainable carrying out both rural infrastructural support project and Cultural exchange development programmers and activities Northern – wide as well as  Burkina Faso, Togo and locate devolve. The following are the activities of this dancing ensemble

v     Music and dancing skills training

v     Language and culture learning training

v     Public and institutional traditional music and dancing entertainments

v     Traditional ceramic and textile deigning.

The group has hostel facilities that offer an incredible opportunity for foreign participants to interact, share, and discuss issues relating to their academic and cover fields in self – development, Infrastructural Support for rural development projects and activities includes the provision and facilitation of portable drinking water, Sanitation, education Support, population and reproductive health education and family life education.

AIMS AND OBJEECTIVE

1. To promote sustainable inter-Cultural and cross – cultural interaction and relations with the regional and Interact ional interested potential individuals, Groups and institutions especially European university and college student youth in the academic, professional and career faculty of African starchier, music, art, dance and social sciences.
2. To create a concrete into – Cultural exchange development friendship and relations with European, especially the Danish and Dutch university and college student youth.
3. To demonstrate, promote and strengthen the inter – Cultural Values of the global society in order to building a peaceful global Community life integration.
